This evening, Friday 13th April 2018, St Andrew’s Theological is rejoicing the Dedication of 14 graduate and postgraduate students of Theology.
His Eminence Archbishop Stylianos, as Founder and Dean of the College which is the first Orthodox Theological College established in the Southern Hemisphere (1986), presided over the Doxology Service at the Cathedral of the Annunciation in Sydney.
Besides the Sub-Dean of the College, His Grace Bishop Seraphim of Apollonia, present also was the Hon. Mr Christos Karras, Consul General of Greece in Sydney and Professor Diane Speed, Dean and CEO of the Sydney College of Divinity.
Our Primate spoke to the hearts of the graduates and expressed the hope that each of them, men and women, would apply the phenomena gained through St Andrew’s for the glory of God and to the benefit of the Orthodox Church across Australia and the world.
The Kostoula Tsabalas Memorial Prize for Exemplary Achievement was awarded to Nicholas Feros and Michel Nahas.
Supper was enjoyed by everyone in the Great Hall of the College where personal congratulations were offered by all.
