Apostles Stachys, Amplias, Urban, Narcissus, Apelles of the Seventy
Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called made Stachys Bishop of Byzantium, where he was Bishop for 16 years, zealously preaching the Gospel of Christ and converting pagans to the true Faith. St Amplias was Bishop in the city of Diospolis, and St Urban, in Macedonia. The holy Apostle Andrew also made them Bishops. For preaching the Gospel, they were put to death by Jews and pagan Greeks. St Narcissus was Bishop of Athens, and St. Apelles was Bishop at Heraclium.

Holy Apostles of the Seventy: Stáchys, Amplías, Úrban, Narcíssus, and Apélles entreat the merciful God to grant our souls forgiveness of transgressions.
